William Penn Freshmen Foundations is a brand new program for all incoming 9th grade students designed to help them make connections to each other, to staff, and to the William Penn community providing each student with a solid foundation. WE R.I.S.E to B. U. I. L. D. by . . . ensuring a successful transition into William Penn High School by providing strong academic and social foundations for all 9th grade students. WE foster a positive and safe learning environment to B.U.I.L.D. (Believe, Understand, Innovate, Learn & Dream) productive members and leaders of the Colonial community.

Advanced Classes
Taking honors and AP classes in 9th grade is a great way for interested students to ease into advanced coursework. William Penn offers honors classes in all core subjects for students in 9th grade, as well as AP Human Geography, which they can earn college credit for taking!

After their 9th grade year, each student will have an opportunity to earn college credit through the 30+ AP and/or Dual Enrollment classes offered.

Family Fun Night
August 17th, 6-8 PM at  William Penn
Team building for incoming 9th graders, information and activity sessions for parents & babysitting for younger siblings.

Fall sports have summer conditioning programs and start practice on August 14th!
