The Colonial School District was advised by Delaware State Police that a 15-year-old Colonial student was shot and killed on Friday evening. At the time of this incident, the student was not attending classes in person. Our hearts go out to the victim’s family and everyone else involved in this tragic incident.
Despite the fact that we have no knowledge of ongoing threats, to ensure the safety and security of everyone, there will be an increased police presence at William Penn, along with constables and administrators on Monday, February 13th. Additional support will also be available for staff and students who wish to speak with them.
