The Academy of Finance major provides students with an in-depth understanding of finance and financial services. Our Junior Achievement courses prepare students for the real world by teaching them both personal and business finance. With our curriculum, students will start by gaining financial literacy during their first year. In year two, students will expand on that knowledge by utilizing the capabilities of finance in helping them achieve their personal and professional goals. In year three, students will learn about the stock market, investing, and planning for their retirement. Students will also be exposed to tax preparation, accounting, and money management programs to prepare them for careers in fields like accounting, wealth management, financial analysis, and tax preparation
