The Society for the Prevention of Teen Suicide
Recently Netflix released a series titled “13 Reasons Why” based on a 17-year-old girl, who commits suicide, but leaves behind a series of tapes for 13 people that she identified as having a part in why she killed herself. Teen suicide is on the rise in every level of the education system and students from elementary schools to high schools are binge watching the series.
