What are your plans for after graduation? (College, Career, Military?)
I want to go to college for Music Therapy.

What are you passionate about outside of school?

I am passionate about music and its impact on people. I also love being able to help others and give back in any way I can.

 An Awards, Scholarships or Accomplishments?
I am a member of the Tri-M Honor Society and Secretary of the National Honor Society.

What Sports or Clubs are you involved in?
I am currently in the Color Guard for marching band and will be in indoor Color Guard as long as it is possible to do so. I have previously been involved with Penn Players as well. Outside of school I am President of the Porter Gang 4-H club and am a part of 4-H’s C-3 (Camp Counselors Club). I also am a member of my church’s worship team.

What person, who isn’t a teacher, made an impact on you and why?
My guard instructor Annie has made a huge impact on my life. Although she only came into my life three years ago, she has always been there when I needed her. She has helped to push me to be a better person and a better performer and I truly appreciate her.

What’s your favorite high school memory?
My favorite high school memory is from my 10th grade year of indoor Color Guard. We had done well all season and we made it to the championships. I will never forget performing “Among the Mundane” in Wildwood at Championships and then standing there in anticipation of our placement and realizing we had gotten second place.

What’s something you hope to be remembered for?
I hope to be remembered for my willingness to help others.

What’s your favorite quote?
“No amount of regretting can change the past, and no amount of worrying can change the future.” ― Roy T. Bennett, The Light in the Heart

Here is your opportunity to say thank you to anyone and everyone who made you the success that you are. What would you like to say to those people?
First, I would like to thank Ms. Cento, Mr. S, and Mrs. Bell. You all pushed me to become a better person and a better musician and guided me through that. Mr. S, I think you’re the best thing to ever happen to our music program. You’ve helped to push for so much change and, combined, the music staff has pushed the programs far past expectations and I can’t wait to see what’s in store for the future Colonials. To Annie, I would like to thank you for helping to support me emotionally and lending a listening ear when I needed it. You’ve pushed me to be a better performer and do so with every member of the Color Guard. I am so excited to see where the guard is in future years as you made our guard close like family but a force to be reckoned with. You’re the best guard instructor I have ever had. I would also like to thank Mr. Caro. You have the biggest heart, you’ve dealt with me for two years now, and you don’t hesitate to help me when I need it. You have a true passion for teaching, love what you do, and sincerely care about your students. You inspire kindness in the hearts of those around you. I admire you for that and inspire to be that for other people. The world needs more teachers like you. I would like to thank Mr. Nuneville because even though my eleventh-grade year was tough, I could always look forward to first period for some laughs and historical humor. I would like to thank all of my teachers up to this point for pushing me academically and helping to make me who I am today. I also greatly appreciate family. Aunt Brenda, I would not be where I am today if you had not rescued me from the situation that I was in. You have truly changed my life and helped to transform it into something incredible. I know you can’t replace her, but I will always love you as if you were my own mother and consider you as such. Last, but most certainly not least, I would like to thank my best friend Ashley. We have been through it all together and I really appreciate the love and support you’ve given me in the last seven years.
