Good Evening William Penn Students and Families – This is Ms. Brewington, School Principal.

I hope everyone is doing well, and that you all are safe and healthy during this time.  We all miss all of our students and can’t see all of your smiling faces again!!

I wanted to send a reminder that tomorrow between 4 pm and 6 pm, families can come to William Penn High School to pick up technology or trade a previously picked up device if there are issues with it.  This device deployment will be for any student in a Colonial School District school – not just those who attend William Penn High School. There will also be device deployments for Colonial School District Students at Gunning Bedford Middle School and McCullough Middle school so that parents and students can go whichever school is closest to them.  We will still be practicing social distancing, so we ask that in order to keep everyone safe, you remain in your cars and take the direction of staff when picking up your device.

We are encouraging everyone to come pick up a device at any of the schools mentioned, if you do not already have a device at home.  All students at William Penn High School should have heard from their teachers by now regarding their schedule for remote learning opportunities, which will begin the morning of April 6th.  If you have not heard from your teacher, please feel free to email them for their schedule and information. We understand that this will be a change for both students and teachers, however we are excited for the beginning of remote learning opportunities for our students. Last but not least, the building may be closed but school is still open and we are looking forward to seeing all of our students online tomorrow!

Thank you and have a great evening!!
