Attention students and families please look for a mailing with your student’s course recommendations for the 2020-2021 school year. Once you receive the mailing please review the courses and selected degree program. If you have any questions or require any changes please contact the appropriate WPHS Counselor, as listed below, by May 15, 2020. It is important the correct courses are entered now prior to running the master schedule. Once the school year starts, no schedule changes will be made.

If you are interested in adding Distance Learning (online courses) or Dual Enrollment (college courses) to your schedule, please contact sarah.cuje@colonial.k12.de.us with any questions. Distance Learning and College Course information are located here.

Typical Course Selection Process during Non-Pandemic Circumstances

During the month of February and March, we will start creating schedule requests for the next school year. Below is the course selection guide to complete this process. Time has been offered during Advisory as well for this process.  Remember that course selection is critical to support the student’s degree program and prepare them for life beyond graduation.  Make sure to examine the course catalog and confer with current teachers to make informed decisions.  Feel free to contact your child’s school counselor for further questions and information.
