Safe Return to School Contacts

Dear Parent/Guardian,

Thank you for submitting your intentions for your students. You indicated either via a survey or phone call that your child would receive either face to face or remote learning for the first semester of the 2020-21 school year. Please check your email for a confirmation of your choice for your student.

The Colonial School District Safe Return to School District team has created the CSD Virtual Academy Overview for Parents/Students which includes expectations and sample schedules. For In-Person Learning, students will follow a typical school schedule but will be in cohorts (same group of students) with little mixing of classes. The safety of our students is at the forefront of all decisions and the schools are prepared to follow the recommendations found in the Delaware Department of Education Return to School Guidance document.

As our current situation is constantly evolving, please understand that planning could change based on a resurgence of the virus, just as plans could change based on developments with testing and treatment. We appreciate your patience and flexibility as we adapt to the changing environment throughout the summer.
