Extended School Year & 12 month

Special Education programming is offered through the summer for students who qualify per federal and state guidelines. At your student’s annual IEP meeting, summer opportunities will be discussed. Based on his/her needs and supporting data, the team will decide if any of these are appropriate for your child. If you have questions, please contact your school’s Special Education Coordinator.

*All programs will meet four days per week in person, Monday through Thursday. Please note that there will be no programming on Tuesday, July 4.*

Sports Camps

YOUR Delaware Blue Coats are hosting basketball camps throughout Delaware this summer!

What to Expect:

Skill Development: Our experienced coaches are dedicated to helping campers enhance their basketball skills, regardless of their current level. Whether you’re a beginner or a seasoned player, there’s something for everyone.

Age Range: Open to participants aged 6-16, our camps foster a diverse and supportive community where every student athlete can thrive.

Safety: A certified health professional will be on site at all times for any health or safety concerns.

Lunch: Participants are encouraged to bring their lunch every day. We believe that a well-fed camper is a happy camper, ready to tackle each day’s challenges.

Camp Gear: Each participant will receive a camp kit including shorts, a t-shirt, and a surprise item to make their camp experience even more special!

Special Guest Speakers: Brace yourself for inspiring talks from special guest speakers! Learn from basketball legends and industry experts who share their insights and motivate campers to reach new heights.

Character Building Exercises: Beyond the court, our camps focus on building character. Engage in activities that teach teamwork, resilience, and leadership—skills that extend far beyond the basketball arena.

Competitive Environment: Be ready to embrace a fun, Be ready to embrace a fun, yet competitive and supportive atmosphere that’s perfect for learning and personal growth. Drill work, scrimmages, and skills challenges await, ensuring every participant experiences the thrill of healthy competition.
