Based on Delaware State Police recommendation, four schools along the Route 9 corridor were placed on soft lockdown shortly after 11:30AM for approximately 25 minutes while investigators responded to a domestic incident in nearby Collins Park. This means students resumed normal activities inside, but were not allowed outside play out of an abundance of caution. All school activities returned to normal after police cleared the scene.
