Dear Families:
Please be advised that one of our school buses was involved in an accident on Route 13 near Federal Drive this morning. The seven students onboard were evaluated by EMS crews at the scene and were cleared to be safely transported to George Read Middle School, and their families were contacted. The bus driver and aide were taken to Christiana Hospital for further evaluation. The other vehicle’s operator was also transported to the hospital for evaluation. Both sides of Rt 13 were closed while the scene was investigated and cleared.
