Children’s Covid-19 Vaccination Clinics
New Castle, DE- The Colonial School District will host two Covid-19 vaccination clinics for
children ages 5-11 only on Tuesday, November 30, and Tuesday, December 21, 2021, from
4:00-7:00 PM. Pre-registration is required. Only the Pfizer vaccine will be administered at
both clinics.
These clinics will take place in the cafeteria at George Read Middle School located in New Castle
at 314 East Basin Road.
“Colonial is very excited to partner with Albertsons/ACME to provide a convenient opportunity
within the district for families to have their child receive the Pfizer Covid-19 vaccine if they
choose to do so. Families need to know that it is not mandatory that their child receive
the vaccine in order to attend school. The Colonial School District, along with the Delaware Department of Education, encourages all families to visit https://coronavirus.delaware.gov/ to learn more about the Covid-19 vaccine for children.” says Colonial’s Director of Health and Wellness, Dr. Jon Cooper.
No other vaccines will be administered, and only pre-registered children will be accepted for
this free vaccination opportunity.
