Colonial Family,

We regret that we have some sad news to share with Colonial Nation. 

Today we were made aware that Mike Snow, a Teacher at McCullough, has passed away unexpectedly. Mike exemplified what it means to be a Colonial. He was a beloved teacher at McCullough for nearly 17 years;  he truly cared for every student he encountered. His impact reaches far beyond McCullough and extends into the New Castle community. He brightened our district and made our staff members smile.  He was a lifelong member of our Colonial family and was a proud William Penn Alumni (Class of 1994) 

To give our staff and students time to process this loss, there will be no school for students at McCullough Middle School on March 14th, 2024.

Our thoughts and sympathies are with Mike’s family. This is a huge loss for not only our district but our larger community as Mike was loved by so many.
