Thanks to a relationship with some Colonial teachers, Aarushi Nayak, a student from the Appoquinimink area, wanted to support the outdoor gardens at Carrie Downie as a community service project for Girl Scouts. To earn her latest badge Aarushi planned, designed, built and delivered a garden cart to help organize the tools for the outdoor gardens at Carrie Downie Elementary. With donations from @loweshomeimprovement , she custom built the cart with bins, tool holders and wheels to make it easy for students to take care of the raised beds at the school. Aarushi aspires to be an engineer when she gets older and as we can see, she is well on her way! Way to go Aarushi!
