A REMINDER TO STAY VIGILANT OVER BREAK

If a student or member of your household tests positive for COVID-19 over spring break please do not report to school on Monday.  Please contact your primary care provider for medical advice.  Families should also email their school nurse who will respond when they return to the office on Monday, April 25th.  Students are encouraged to take a COVID-19 home test, provided this week,   on Sunday prior to returning to school.

The Division of Public Health has made a limited supply of home tests available to all students and staff of Colonial Schools.  On April 13th,  all students, except those at William Penn, will receive their free COVID-19 Home Test Kit at the end of the school day along with a letter with information about COVID-19 testing and reporting.  William Penn students will receive their test kit on April 12th due to the schedule for PSAT testing.  The Division of Public Health and Colonial recommends that all students and staff complete a COVID test before returning to school after spring break.  We encourage families to save this test kit for use at that time.

As a reminder, if a student, or a member of their household, tests positive for COVID-19, students must not report to school until cleared by the school nurse.  School nurses will not be working over the spring break but will respond to messages upon return to the office on Monday, April 25th.  If you require immediate assistance, please contact your primary care provider for medical advice.
