Last night, we were made aware of a concerning social media post regarding a potential safety issue at Gunning Bedford Middle School. This post was brought to our attention by members of our community. The concern was reported to the Delaware State Police and they are continuing to investigate the matter. There will be police and constable presence on Monday, March 20, 2023. We thank our Safety and Security Team and community members for their diligence in working proactively to keep Gunning Bedford safe.
Safety is always our top priority, and as such, we will continue to take any alerts seriously and investigate accordingly. Families are encouraged to keep the lines of communication open with their children and share any critical information with school administrators. As always, if you see or hear anything that may be questionable, please report it to the school.
