Fall sports are beginning at Gunning Bedford. Soccer and field hockey are available to students.
- Soccer tryouts will occur Wednesday, September 4th through Friday, September 6th. Only those who signed up and have a DIAA physical on file are eligible to tryout. Cuts will be made after Thursday, so students will need to check Friday morning to know if they should stay for the final day of tryouts. Anyone trying out for soccer should bring sneakers, a water bottle and wear comfortable clothes. Cleats, shin guards, or goalie gloves may also be brought to tryouts but are not required. Keep in mind that quite a bit of running will occur at tryouts on Wednesday, so students should stay hydrated throughout the day. If students have field hockey equipment (cleats, shin guards, stick, goggles, mouth guard) it is expected they bring it to try outs.
