The Colonial Early Education Program (CEEP) is a Delaware Star Level 5 program.  CEEP is comprised of preschool aged children with and without identified disabilities, and is housed at John G. Leach School.  All preschool classes are taught by Delaware state certified early childhood educators, and all classrooms have at least one paraeducator.  Certified speech/language pathologists, occupational therapists, and/or physical therapists work in all preschool classrooms. CEEP implements a developmentally appropriate educational curriculum which focuses on language, social-emotional, cognitive, fine motor, and large motor skills.  Our educators also focus on the Delaware Department of Education’s Early Learning Foundations for School Success when planning and teaching lessons.

CEEP is licensed by the Delaware Office of Child Care Licensing (OCCL), and is committed to providing a safe and nurturing environment that celebrates each child’s learning potential, while developing his or her unique identity. The anticipated outcome of our program is to acquire the essential skills necessary to be successful in kindergarten and beyond.

CEEP accepts Purchase of Care and offers Early Childhood Assistance Program (ECAP) slots for children who are income eligible.
