This is a 5 day week for students. All students will continue with online learning through this week. Colonial School district is striving to have students in our CASL, Integration A, and Intensive Learning Center programs return on Monday, December 7th. This is a tentative return date and we will continue to keep families informed in the event of any changes to that plan.
This Wednesday evening, from 3pm until 6pm, Southern will hold a math materials pick up event for all students Students will receive a math manipulatives kit. Students that have been part of in-person learning will received copies of math workbook pages needed for continued online learning until they return after the holidays.
This Thursday is virtual Spirit Day – Twin Day. Students are encouraged to show their Southern spirit by dressing like a friend. Please send pictures to Mrs. Carmen Word, our secretary in the Blue/Orange staff center so that she can create a picture collage for our school Facebook page.
The Southern PTA is hosting a gift card fundraiser for Texas Roadhouse Gift Cards. They will start the sale November 30th and the end date will be December. 14th.
