Good Evening Southern Elementary School Families. This is Mr. Gibeault with your weekly update for the week of November 9th.
This is a 4 day week for students. Schools and offices are closed Wednesday for Veteran’s Day.
On Monday, we look forward to welcoming many students back to Face to Face instruction. This is similar to the first day of school, but with many new procedures. I ask for your patience as our arrival and dismissal may take a little longer while we teach students the new expectations and implement new parent drop off and pick up procedures.
This is a reminder for F2F students and families, please be sure to implement the Covid self-screening checklist each morning. Every family will be provided with a thermometer to assist with this self-screener. If your child presents with any symptom on the checklist, you must keep them home and contact our school nurse.
If you plan to drop your child off or pick them up, please know that we have new procedures. All parents must remain in their cars, both in the morning and afternoon. Staff will assist in helping students enter the building and we will bring your child to your car in the afternoon.
