The Science department is dedicated to helping students incorporate technology and writing into the core themes of science.  These themes are Earth Science, Life Science and Physical Science.  Along with teaching these themes, a focus is placed on practicing safety in the science lab room.

Colonial School District has a Science Showcase each year, where students from Kindergarten to 12th grade plan exhibits and hands-on activities for the public.  Held at William Penn High School, the Showcase is always a favorite!  This event occurs in the spring.

8th grade students will take the Science DCAS test at the end of May, and it will cover learning from 6th through 8th grade.
