Agriculture Degree Program

The Agriculture program is one of many degree programs that incoming students can choose from. William Penn High School is committed to helping our students understand, connect, and act on critical global issues by integrating 21st-century skills and experiences through degree programs. Adhering to our district goal, all students will become college and career-ready by the time they graduate. All incoming students will select a concentrated degree program in one of our three colleges. Within this degree program, students have the choice between Plant Science and Animal Science. These programs are integrated but have specific studies. More information about all the choices at William Penn High School can be found HERE.

The Agriscience pathway helps students acquire a broad understanding of a variety of agricultural areas, develop an awareness of the many career opportunities in agriculture, participate in occupationally relevant experiences, and work cooperatively with a group to develop and expand leadership abilities.
