Learn about the Colonial School District & Relay Graduate School of Education Residency. Teacher candidates spend a year learning and growing alongside an experienced teacher, taking graduate level courses and being paid! Learn about the residency experience here or sign up to attend the in-person mixer on January 12th.

Colonial Educator Survey
WE would like to take a moment to thank all teachers who were able to complete the Colonial Educator Survey that was sent at the beginning of November.  Your responses will help us identify bright spots and inform areas for improvement WE as a district need to consider.  The responses will also assist in our teacher recruitment efforts.  THANK YOU for your dedication and hardwork!  WE appreciate your feedback!

Behavioral Health Professional of the Year Award
Do you know a Colonial staff member who is dedicated, inspiring, and making a difference? The Behavioral Health Professional of the Year Award is given to a school employee whose position is health care practitioner or social or human services provider who offers services for the purpose of improving an individual’s mental health, such as

  • School counselors
  • School social workers
  • Licensed clinical social workers
  • School psychologists
  • School nurses

My.Delaware.Gov
Emails are being sent by Shelley (Michelle) Vincent to those who have NOT yet registered for my.delaware.gov and/or do not have a home email address on file.  Colonial has over 160 staff who have not taken action to register for my.delaware.gov.  If you have received an email OR have not yet registered, PLEASE take immediate action before winter break so all staff have access to your pay statements and tax documents in the new calendar year.  This is for ALL staff no matter your position; Full Time, Part Time, Casual/Seasonal, Substitute, Student Worker, Aide, EPER, etc.
