Step 2 – Study and Take the ASVAB Exam
The ASVAB Armed Services Vocational Aptitude Battery (ASVAB) is a timed, multi-aptitude test that helps the Department of Defense not just determine whether you are a good fit to join the service, but also which service branch you might be best for and even what military jobs you can hold after you finish basic training or boot camp. The better your ASVAB score, the broader your options.
Step 3 – Stay or Get in Good Physical Shape
Physical fitness is a big part of life in the military. It’s required. To make sure our military force is mission ready, each service member regardless of age, grade or duty assignment is regularly tested.
