STEP Field Study Teachers
Are you interested in improving student outcomes? Are you interested in action research? Colonial is seeking teachers looking to improve student outcomes using the STEP model. STEP Field Study Teachers will engage in professional development on the STEP approach and be assigned to a STEP cohort. STEP Field Study Teachers are eligible to earn up to a $3,000 stipend for their work in the classroom and as a STEP Participant. Each cohort will be lead and supported by a STEP Facilitator; trained to support the team in action research and asset based problem solving.
STEP Facilitators
Colonial is seeking STEP Facilitators who are interested in facilitating teacher teams in action research. STEP Facilitators will engage in action research Bootcamps as well as professional learning designed to sharpen their collegial facilitation skills. They are responsible for supporting the work of each member of their STEP Cohort. STEP Facilitators are eligible to earn up to a $4,000 stipend for their work in the project. STEP Facilitators will be supported by the STEP Coach that has been trained in action research, asset-based problem solving, positive deviance, facilitation of teacher teams, and coaching teacher leaders.
