Requests for Public Records
Pursuant to the Delaware Freedom of Information Act
Title 29, Del. C., Ch. 100

Requests for Public Records should be submitted to the Superintendent’s Office.  When requesting records, please provide as much information as possible to assist in locating them, such as the types of records, the individuals to contact regarding the request, and the subject matter of the requested records.  The Colonial School District will make every reasonable effort to assist you in identifying the records sought. Administrative and copying fees may apply (please see Colonial School District FOIA Policy).

Online FOIA Form

To help ensure your request is received and processed promptly, we encourage you to submit all Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) requests using the online FOIA Request Form. Requests submitted by email may be inadvertently filtered as junk or spam, which could delay receipt and processing. Using the FOIA Request Form helps ensure your request is delivered directly to the appropriate staff for timely handling.
