The Colonial School District is committed to fostering open, transparent, and timely communication with members of the media. The Office of Communications serves as the district's official point of contact for all media inquiries, interview requests, and information related to our schools, programs, and events.

To help ensure the safety, security, and privacy of our students and staff . . .

• All media visits must be arranged in advance through the Office of Communications and approved by the school principal.

• Media representatives must check in upon arrival and be accompanied by district personnel while on school property. Interviews, photographs, or videos involving students require prior written parent or guardian consent in accordance with district policy and applicable privacy laws.

Guidelines for Distribution of Materials to One or More Schools in the Colonial School District 

The Colonial School District receives numerous requests for distribution of flyers, brochures, and other materials to our families. While we are careful not to share sales or for-profit advertisements, we are happy to connect families with non-profit programs that provide educational or enrichment opportunities to our students.
