Communities in Schools (CISDE) invites you to the Champions for Children annual event. This year, they are hosting a virtual event on Thursday, November 12, 2020, 7:00 PM. They are thrilled to be honoring Congresswoman Lisa Blunt Rochester, Chris Kenny and Beatrice “Bebe” Coker as our Champions for Children. They will also feature a live cooking demonstration by Chef Dana. It’s going to be a night of celebration and fundraising. There will be an auction featuring a Hamptons get-a-way, relaxation packages, shopping gift card tree, and more!

Communities In Schools Delaware is a 501 (c)(3) charitable organization, committed to working directly in our schools to empower students to succeed inside and outside the classroom. Across the country, approximately 1 in 5 children under 18 live in poverty. These are disproportionately children of color who already struggle with issues of access and equity.
