Two credits of World Language is required to graduate high school in Delaware.  This summer, William Penn is administering Proficiency Exams that have been approved by the state as a replacement for the 2 years of World Language Courses.  When William Penn administered these tests this past fall, we were able to award 94 students with their 2 credits of World Language.  This provides greater flexibility for the students and their counselors with scheduling classes in high school.

If students would like to take this exam to show their proficiency, they can sign up and pay to do so.  Depending on their native language the test will range from $20-$210.
