“My Favorite memory as an educator in Colonial . . . .

Conducting my first William Penn Commencement Ceremony in June 2006…I will never forget the view from behind the podium as the graduates marched in. Words cannot describe the emotions I felt. It was at that moment I realized how much of an honor was to be the Principal of William Penn High School.”

Who We Are – Dr. Jeffrey Menzer

In 2007, Colonial’s Assistant Superintendent received his doctorate degree in Educational Leadership. The former principal at William Penn has worked in various capacities in the district, starting his career as a student teacher in 1991. As a leader, Menzer is inspired by a quote written by author and motivational speaker Jim Rohn-” The challenge of leadership is to be strong, but not rude; be kind, but not weak; be bold, but not a bully; be humble, but not timid; be proud, but not arrogant, have humor, but without folly.”
