Monday through Thursday, children will be able to enjoy a nutritious meal in a safe friendly environment provided by Colonial School District

Open to ALL children, 18 and younger No Enrollment, No Cost
Adults accompanied by children Breakfast: $1.75 / Lunch: $3.00

Farmers Market!

Every Wednesday during lunch from June 21st-August 3rd at McCullough Middle and Eisenberg Elementary!

Visit Penn Farm’s Pop-Up Farmers’ Market!  Anyone from the community can come and pick-up locally grown, low-cost produce.  Produce is grown by William Penn High Agriculture students and all proceeds will help support WPHS’s Penn Farm Project!

Are you up for the Challenge?

A free, fun & interactive Nutrition and fitness series presented by 4H Healthy living and

University of Delaware’s SNAP-ED, EFNEP Program.
• Mondays: Eisenberg Elementary School
• Thursdays: McCullough Middle School

Edible Education
Discover how and where your food comes from through an interactive 6-part series full of activities and weekly taste tests presented by Colonial’s Nutrition Staff!
• Mondays: McCullough Middle School
• Tuesdays: Eisenberg Elementary School

Food Art
This educational program will provide children with the benefits of snacking and why it is important in a healthy diet.  Children will the benefits of Fruits and vegetable while creating their own Food Art Animals and other kid-friendly designs.  Parents may also get some good activities to get their kids to eat more fruits and veggies!!

The Summer Food Service Program is operated by the Nutrition Services Department entirely through reimbursement from the United States Department of Agriculture, not local tax payer dollars from Colonial School District’s general operating budget.
