On May 10th, Keenan D. Dorsey, Sr. was elected to serve on the Colonial School Board representing District E. According to the Department of Elections’ unofficial results, Dorsey received 483 votes to incumbent Leo Magee, Sr’s 190. He will be sworn into office during the July board meeting at William Penn High school. Until that time, Magee will continue to serve on the board. A special thank you presentation will be given at June’s board meeting to celebrate Mr. Magee’s service to the board.

Also re-elected to the Board was Christine Smith from District B. She received 355 votes to opponent Gail Wade’s 329.
